It was a powerful weekend for the women of New Salem Baptist Church!! Special thanks to our guest speaker, Evangelist  Vandalyn Kennedy, who brought us all to the altar for a most special prayer and praise of our Lord; the Women’s Retreat Committee who organized and managed our fun, exciting, relaxing, emotional, and spiritually uplifting trip to Chicago; our first lady, Minister Brenda Troy for her leadership in organizing this amazing weekend; for the women who traveled from different destinations around the country to join us at our retreat; and the Women’s Day Choir and all Women’s Band who blessed us all with their beautiful voices and musical talents. And congratulations to our own New Salem, daughter, Rev. Dr. Tanikka Shepherd, for her latest achievement!
