Spring is here, Women of New Salem, and that means the 2022 Women of Power Weekend, at the church, is just around the corner. This year’s theme is RADICAL SELF-CARE. The weekend will kick off on Friday, April 29th at 6:00 p.m. and we’ll be back on Saturday, April 30th starting with a continental breakfast at 8:00 am. On Sunday, May 1st we will celebrate Women’s Day. The cost of the weekend is $40.00. Registration is now open and final payments due by April 26th. The event will be held at the church. The color for Women’s Day is white.
Scripture Isaiah 41:10 Theme Radical Self-Care. The weekend’s agenda is Food, Fellowship, and Fireside Chat. Please bring lawn chairs. Saturday, morning Continental Breakfast begins at 8:00 a.m. Worship and Empowerment Sessions, Sunday, May 1st Women’s Day. Our speaker is Dr. Cynthia Turner Wood, Pastor of Dayspring Community Church, Lanham, Maryland. All activities are casual attire with the exception of Sunday the color is white.

Friday

Saturday
8:00 am – Continental Breakfast
9:00 a.m. – Praise and Worship
9:30 a.m. – Workshops
- Radical Care (Calming Anxiety)
- Radical Care (God’s Strength)
- Radical Care (Mental Wellness).
Sunday
Worship at 11:00 in person and virtually. Women’s Day Guest Preacher is Dr. Cynthia Turner Wood, Pastor, Dayspring Community Church, Lanham, MD.
